Hyundai forklifts: a tough act to follow

When the going gets tough, the tough get going to Flexilift – for a Hyundai forklift that is.

With more than 70 models of Hyundai forklifts in production from 1.5 ton to 16 ton, Flexilift offers customers material handling equipment to suit the most demanding
warehouse or materials handling application.

As well as suiting many applications, Hyundai forklifts are built to last – even in the harshest conditions.

Recently, a Hyundai piece of equipment weighing 22 tons was on top of a trailer and
heading east on Interstate 70 in Kansas, USA, when it slammed into a bridge.

The extended shovel arm was made of hardened refined steel and the approaching overpass bridge was made of commercial-grade concrete, reinforced with 1.5″ steel bar spaced at 6″ intervals in a criss-cross pattern layered at a 1ft vertical spacing.

After the collision, it was the concrete bridge that came out second best, with the Hyundai loader looking virtually unscathed.

“We are proud to be associated with the Hyundai brand – one that eschews the very
values that we also believe in: quality, customer service and innovation and hard work”, says John Fisher, business development manager of Flexilift Australia Pty Ltd.

“In a time of economic stagnation, buying a forklift that is tougher than reinforced concrete makes sound economic sense”.

Hyundai forklifts from Flexilift include all diesel,
electric and LPG variants.
