Cost effective Class O compressed air from Boge

Boge has launched the new S40-2 Bluekat, an oil-lubricated screw compressor with a built in converter that cost effectively produces absolutely oil free compressed air for the small to medium sized compressed air user.

The ideal way to generate oil free compressed air is to invest in an oil free compressor. However, the investment cost involved in this technology means that this is usually the route for the larger installations. Boge recently developed Bluekat to offer a cost effective solution for the small to medium sized oil free compressed air user.

Bluekat is an oil-lubricated screw compressor with a built in converter that completely removes residual oil aerosols contained in the compressed air and breaks the hydrocarbon chain into carbon dioxide and water. The residual compressed air produced meets the quality requirements of ISO 8573-1 Class 1 but more importantly it has been tested and certified to meet the exacting requirements of Class 0.

A further benefit of the Boge Bluekat is that traditional condensate treatment and disposal is eliminated, any residual condensate is clean water.

Irrespective of the intake air quality, the operating principle of the integrated converter is absolutely safe and a cost-effective alternative to traditional oil-free generation – tested and certified.

It is available in the standard pressure of 8, 10 and 13 bar.

Output capacities range from 3.71 – 5.01 m3/min and motor power 30 kW.
