"The launch of our new Road Building Division, partnering with Terex Roadbuilding the world's leading manufacturer of concrete and asphalt plant and paving equipment represents a major expansion initiative for the organisation" said Robert Hammond Managing Director of the Clark Equipment Group.

"Our broad distribution combined with Terex Roadbuilding expertise and innovative designs make this a perfect partnership to benefit our customers with the best equipment available in the world to handle the expected huge growth in infrastructure spending in Australia and New Zealand" continued Robert Hammond. "We have built our reputation on providing equipment and service solutions, and the broad concrete and asphalt product lines of Terex Roadbuilding allow us to offer our road building customers a more complete package."

"For 60 years, Clark Equipment has been deeply committed to the customer's success," says Gary Hirsch, vice president of sales for Terex Roadbuilding. "Their superior full-service support joined with our high-quality asphalt and concrete equipment will be a powerful asset for road building contractors in the Oceanic: Australia, New Zealand and the surrounding islands."

Clark Equipment now represents the broadest line of asphalt and concrete equipment available from one manufacturer, enabling Clark to provide road building contractors a more complete equipment package with strong support for the entire Terex Roadbuilding line of asphalt and concrete plant and paving equipment sold under the Terex® legacy brands of Cedarapids (asphalt paving and plant equipment), Standard Havens, CMI, and Johnson-Ross and the Terex® family brand Bid-Well.

Tom O'Sullivan General Manager/Product Manager of the new division said "For asphalt contractors, Clark Equipment offers the Terex® line of reclaimer/stabilizers, utility, half- and full-lane milling machines, pavers, screeds, material transfer devices, and the innovative CR662RM, which can be equipped as a material transfer vehicle or paver. Asphalt producers will have access to the full line of Terex® counterflow asphalt plants and components available in super-portable, portable and relocatable designs, all of which can be equipped with the recently introduced Terex® warm mix asphalt system."

The Clark Equipment Road Building Division now carries a wide array of concrete equipment solutions for contractors and producers. The Terex Roadbuilding offering includes automatic roller, bridge, and hydraulic variable width and traditional slipform pavers, material transfer/placers, fine grade trimmers and texture/curing machines for concrete contractors. The line's new Series 6 paving kit offers slipform paving contractors a breakthrough that significantly reduces the time it takes to make a paving width change.
