23-02-2015

Steel Blue boots has teamed up with Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue to support Australian men’s health issues.

True blue takes on a whole new meaning as Steel Blue’s industrial safety boot, the Southern Cross, is now available in a special blue edition.

With each pair sold, $10 is donated to these worthy charities.

To date the company has raised more than $30,000 for men’s health.

Prostate cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in Australia with 20,000 men diagnosed each year.

On average, 1 in 8 men will experience depression at some stage of their lives and 1 in 5 men will experience anxiety.

And Steel Blue also offers a range of boots to support those affected by breast cancer.

The Purple Boot Brigade was created in conjunction with Steel Blue to raise much needed funds for Breast Cancer Care WA.

With 1 in 9 women being diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, educating the community is paramount.

Since 2007, over 30,000 pairs of boots have been purchased and $600,000 raised.

By adding some colour to your worklife, you can help make a difference.
