SPECTRAL INSTRUMENTS COME FROM SILICON VALLEY

Imaging specialist Scitech has been signed up to distribute a range of advanced spectral instruments manufactured in the USA by BaySpec.

The deal will see Scitech sell and support the BaySpec ranges of spectrometers, Raman analysers, Raman microscopes, hyperspectral imagers, mass spectrometers and OEM components across Australia and New Zealand.

Silicon Valley based BaySpec is notable for in-house manufacturing all the major components of its systems, a practice the company claims enables additional creativity while saving extra costs. This ranges from packaging the detectors, to creating the gratings, the control electronics and the operating software,
