Smart move … Kemppi’s WiseThin solution software

Leading international welding equipment manufacturer, Kemppi, has launched a family of revolutionary software based welding products for use with its FastMig and KempArc welding machines.

Called the Wise Solutions, the smart welding software allows the welding process to be tailored to the work at hand. The software customises the welding equipment to help the user achieve a level of quality that otherwise would be unattainable with the standard Mig/Mag welding process.

The tailored welding processes and functions are used for root pass work, sheet metal welding, penetration control and focused arcs, where energy density is concentrated into a narrow area.

Developed over several years, the Wise Solutions software enables comprehensive control of the properties of the welding arc as well as the features of the machine. The software adjusts the arc’s properties to turn the equipment into a customised machine for specific welding work.

David Green, Managing Director of Kemppi Australia, says Wise Solutions software provides many benefits for users.”

Apart from improving the quality of the welding, Wise Solutions software helps users reduce welding time, the need for rework and therefore, costs, says Mr Green. ”With Wise Solutions, welding performance and productivity are assured.”

Tried and tested, the proven software is easy to employ and perfect for use in the petrochemical, oil and gas industries, ship building as well as in the automotive and transport sector.

The software can be loaded onto new Kemppi welding equipment prior to delivery or added later.

The family of Wise Solutions software includes WiseRoot, WiseThin, WisePenetration and WiseFusion. Highly reliable, each technology has been specifically developed for a different welding task and maximum performance.

”The family of Wise Solutions software empowers the welder like never before. It allows the user to weld easier, quicker and with quality results,” said Mr Green.
