HEARING PROTECTION THAT ALLOWS COMMUNICATION

01-10-2014

Did you know that removing your hearing protection or lifting up an earmuff to communicate in a noisy environment can be detrimental to your hearing health?

Just 10 minutes exposure to loud noise without protection in a one hour period will reduce a 30 dB protector to an equivalent of an 8dB protector worn all the time.

“The comfort of a hearing protector is equally important,” says Russel Klugman, Director at Cotral, a leader in hearing protection equipment.

Cotral’s latest generation QEOS customised hearing protector aims to solve both these issues by allowing effective communication without the need to remove the protector.

Thanks to a revolutionary 3D manufacturing process (100 microns precision) the QEOS devices fit like a glove, and their comfort is unparalleled.

“Not only is the fit customised by taking an aural impression, the filters for each employee are selected by our SAPAN software, which takes into account their specific noise environment,” explains Mr Klugman. “Moreover, these filters are easily interchangeable should the noise environment change.”

New to Australia, and the leader in customised hearing protection in Europe with over 1.3 million customers, Cotral offers a 6-year product warranty, which makes their protectors very cost-effective.
