Ansell, a world leader in hand protection, has launched a new range of work gloves designed to provide comfort, dexterity and protection to leading professionals.

Ansell Healthcare’s Science and Technology team members have developed the ActivArmr Application Specific Gloves to suit a broad range of applications including metalwork, plumbing, carpentry and electrical.

“All ActivArmr styles base liners are knitted using Ansell Proprietary KVSD 3D knitting technology to reduce hand fatigue and stress, particularly across the knuckles, says Dr Putri, Ansell Science and Technology Module Director for the ActivArmr range.

“The ActivArmr gloves utilize a single ply knit design allows for improved breathability in the stress zones,” he says.

ActivArmr Plumber’s Glove

The ActivArmr Plumber’s Glove is knitted with 15ga Kevlar that gives the wearer three times higher cut level than standard leather gloves.

The ActivArmr Plumber’s Glove is also coated with a thin foam blended nitrile formulation that provides flexibility, without sacrificing abrasion resistance, which is crucial for all plumbers. The glove includes synthetic leather add-ons for additional cut and abrasion at the wear zone on palm and fingers, which assists significantly when handling piping or undertaking drilling.

Knitted with an 18ga Kevlar to provide extra dexterity and comfort, the ActivArmr HVAC glove is coated with thin foam nitrile, allowing breathability, whilst ensuring excellent wet and dry grip. The glove’s blended nitrile formulation provides flexibility without sacrificing on high abrasion resistance.”
